We’re seeking a bold, driven, and commercially astute leader to spearhead our hotel development strategy across Iberia, France, and Italy. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on identifying untapped opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing complex deals that shape the future of hospitality.

This is a remote working, flexible position with a preference for a candidate with a home base in Spain.

About the Role

As Vice President of Hotel Development, you’ll be the architect of our growth in these key markets. You’ll be responsible for sourcing and securing new hotel projects that align with our brand and financial goals—whether through ground-up development, conversions, or strategic acquisitions. You’ll lead the full development lifecycle, from feasibility and deal structuring to negotiation and execution, while navigating local regulations and ensuring brand compliance.

This role is ideal for a true business development hunter—someone who knows how to open doors, build trust, and create value. You’ll be expected to leverage your deep market knowledge and industry network to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and deliver results that drive long-term growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be out in the market—meeting with owners, investors, developers, and government officials to uncover opportunities and shape deals. You’ll lead the development of business cases, conduct financial modelling, and present recommendations to senior leadership. You’ll negotiate terms, structure agreements, and manage the transition of deals into operational reality.

You’ll also represent the company at major industry events, positioning our brand as a preferred partner for hotel development across the region. Internally, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure each project is set up for success.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in hotel development across EMEA, ideally with experience in Iberia, France, or Italy. You should be a confident dealmaker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Your network should include key players in the hospitality investment and development space, and you should be comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments.

Proficiency in Spanish, French, or Italian is highly desirable. You’ll need to be financially literate, with experience in valuation, feasibility analysis, and deal structuring. Most importantly, you should be passionate about growth and relentless in your pursuit of new opportunities.
