As a Vendor Manager II in our Translation Services Operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive capacity plans for complex customer requirements. You will lead stakeholder negotiations, develop new processes, and drive data-driven improvements to optimize our vendor management operations.
Your day starts by reviewing vendor capacity dashboards, spotting gaps before they become bottlenecks. By mid-morning, you're partnering with internal stakeholders - program managers, localization engineers, and business teams - to align capacity plans with upcoming customer demand. After lunch, you dive into performance data, identifying trends that inform proactive hiring decisions and process improvements. You'll draft new workflows for emerging service lines, then jump into a negotiation call with vendors to lock in realistic timelines. No two days look the same: one day you're building a scalable staffing model, the next you're piloting a brand-new operational process from scratch.
