TOMRA Food in Valencia, Spain is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Customer Solutions Delivery (CSD) team. You will support the design and delivery of customer projects across our food sorting and processing portfolio, including factory layouts and bespoke project items, working with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Service.

The role requires 3+ years in design engineering, proficiency with SolidWorks, 3D modelling, AutoCAD, Spanish and English, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of design-related engineering experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and 2D technical drawing.
• SolidWorks knowledge required.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Spanish and English language proficiency required.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Scope projects and develop cost estimates for bespoke solutions.
• Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct on-site risk assessments and follow up on installation actions.
• Develop 3D model concepts using SolidWorks.
• Create 2D plant layouts using AutoCAD.
• Create project-specific P&ID’s and electrical connections lists.
• Conduct site visits to obtain measurements and assess installation requirements.
• Maintain engineering documentation for new designs and design modifications.
• Oversee multiple customer engineering projects across the TOMRA FOOD portfolio.
• Produce manufacturing, service and technical documentation.
• Support engineering change processes and documentation control.
• Partner with Sales, Service and Production teams to support project delivery.
