Destinus is seeking an experienced engineering leader to take full technical responsibility for one of our UAV platforms. You will guide its evolution, set the technical direction for your team, and balance mechanical design, electrical engineering, integration, and flight testing to deliver real impact in Europe.

Based in Madrid, you will drive platform improvements, make trade-offs, and ensure on-time delivery from concept to flight-ready product.

Formación

• Extensive UAV development lifecycle experience.
• Experience shipping UAV products is a must.
• Ability to balance mechanical design, electrical engineering and integration with flight testing.

To be successful in this role, you'll have spent substantial time in the drone industry already. You've taken UAV systems — fixed-wing, VTOL, hybrid — from concept to a compliant, flight-ready platform, through the full UAV development cycle: design to flight and everything in between. And you want to do it again.

You specialize in one of the areas that will report to you, and you're happy to contribute hands-on to it daily. In the others you're not an expert, but your knowledge runs deep enough to weigh the trade-offs when a decision has to be made. Because that's what this job is: deciding how we keep improving our platforms.

You have experienced the entire UAV development lifecycle. Ideally, you feel most confident when it comes to flight testing and systems engineering. You have shipped products before. You know what it takes to make things happen and you want to make them happen.
