A leading engineering firm in Spain is seeking a UAS Pilot with a strong technical background to support BVLOS operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with UAVs, relevant certifications, and a passion for drones. You will be responsible for executing missions, conducting inspections, and collaborating with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Valid UAS Pilot Certificate – Open Category (A1-A3) or Specific Category (STS / SORA).
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
• Experience in inspection, thermography, mapping, or flight testing is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute BVLOS missions in accordance with regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections and maintenance.
• Manage mission documentation: flight logs and technical reports.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and airspace authorities.

Conocimientos

Spanish proficiency (C1 or native)

English proficiency (B2/C1)

Proven experience in BVLOS operations

Experience with fixed-wing or VTOL UAVs

Your Mission

You will be part of the Flight Operations team, working closely with engineering, integration, and testing departments. You will be responsible for the safe execution of BVLOS missions, system maintenance, and providing technical support during flight campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute BVLOS missions in accordance with regulations and internal procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections, assembly, calibration, and maintenance.
• Manage mission documentation: flight logs, checklists, and technical reports.
• Configure and operate Ground Control Stations (GCS) and payload systems.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, and airspace authorities.
• Participate in mission briefings, daily planning, and debriefings.
• Apply and support contingency and emergency procedures.
• Technical degree in Engineering, Electronics, Systems, Telecommunications, or equivalent vocational training.
• Valid UAS Pilot Certificate – Open Category (A1-A3) or Specific Category (STS / SORA).
• Proven experience in BVLOS operations.
• Experience with fixed-wing or VTOL UAVs, ideally over 25 kg MTOM.
• Familiarity with mission-planning and GCS software.
• Spanish proficiency (C1 or native) and English proficiency (B2/C1).
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
