A leading engineering firm in Alicante is seeking a UAS Pilot to support operations in the design and manufacture of high-performance UAS. This role involves planning and executing BVLOS missions, conducting inspections, and managing mission documentation. Formación

  • Valid UAS Pilot Certificate – Open Category (A1-A3) or Specific Category (STS/SORA).
  • Experience with fixed-wing or VTOL UAVs, ideally over 25 kg MTOM.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan and execute BVLOS missions according to regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections.
  • Manage mission documentation, including flight logs and technical reports.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and airspace authorities.

Conocimientos

Technical background in engineering or related fields

Familiarity with mission-planning software
Proficiency in Spanish (C1/native)

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute BVLOS missions in accordance with regulations and internal procedures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections, assembly, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Manage mission documentation : flight logs, checklists, and technical reports.
  • Configure and operate Ground Control Stations (GCS) and payload systems.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, and airspace authorities.
  • Participate in mission briefings, daily planning, and debriefings.
  • Apply and support contingency and emergency procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Electronics, Systems, Telecommunications, or equivalent vocational training.
  • Valid UAS Pilot Certificate – Open Category (A1-A3) or Specific Category (STS / SORA).
  • Proven experience in BVLOS operations .
  • Experience with fixed-wing or VTOL UAVs , ideally over 25 kg MTOM.
  • Familiarity with mission-planning and GCS software.
  • Spanish proficiency (C1 or native) and English proficiency (B2 / C1).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
