Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an IT/IS Business Partner for Space Systems in Spain. The role interfaces with space system users and the Digital organization to deliver IT solutions and cross-border IT projects across Europe.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT, strong stakeholder management, and an interest in spacecraft technologies. This position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to engage in strategic IT initiatives within a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Educated to a bachelor level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating IT stakeholders (Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data Transport) for optimized IT delivery.
• Interest in IT technology, spacecrafts and working in an international team.
• Willingness to learn and ramp up on new technologies, solutions and products.
• Willingness for occasional business trips within Europe.
• Language Skills: Spanish and English at negotiation level.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface between Spanish Space Systems business users and the internal Digital organisation.
• Lead IT projects and non-standard demands for the TS (Space Systems) perimeter across Europe.
• Develop understanding of the customer’s business processes and drivers to shape IT solutions.
• Translate business needs into IT requirements and coordinate a wide array of Digital contributors.
• Provide close day-to-day support as Digital BP focal point (incidents, escalations, etc.).
