Job summary

IREN Spain is seeking a Treasury professional to manage cash flow visibility, coordinate with banks, and support treasury reporting for its Spanish data center and development platform. The role sits in the Finance Department and reports to the Director of Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities include cash flow tracking, bank administration, payment preparation, funding follow-up, and intercompany financing coordination to support high-growth operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or banking operations.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, treasury controls, KYC, intercompany funding, and treasury reporting requirements.
• Ability to organise financial information, payment documentation, bank records, trackers, reconciliations, and reporting inputs.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP, SAP or Power BI is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cash flow trackers, liquidity reports, bank balance updates, payment forecasts, and treasury dashboards for cash visibility.
• Support payment preparation, review, documentation, and follow-up with proper authorisation and internal controls.
• Coordinate banking matters, including account administration, signatory updates, KYC requests, and banking documentation.
• Assist with funding follow-up, debt, intercompany financing, guarantees, and treasury-related documentation.
• Support cash flow planning for operating costs, development activities, project commitments, supplier payments and capex.
• Prepare treasury reporting inputs, reconciliations, variance explanations, and analyses for management reviews, audits, and financing.
• Contribute to improving treasury processes, controls, templates, and banking workflows.

Job description

The Treasury role supports the management, monitoring, and control of treasury activities for IREN Spain, ensuring accurate cash visibility, disciplined payment processes, effective banking coordination, and reliable treasury reporting. The role contributes to the financial control of IREN’s Spanish operations and development platform, supporting liquidity planning, funding follow-up, intercompany processes, and cash management requirements in a high-growth data center and AI infrastructure environment.

Working within the Finance Department and reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the Treasury role provides day-to-day support in cash flow tracking, bank account administration, payment preparation, treasury documentation, debt and funding information follow-up, and coordination with internal finance teams, banks, advisors, and corporate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the Treasury role is responsible for:

• Prepare and maintain cash flow trackers, liquidity reports, bank balance updates, payment forecasts, and treasury dashboards to support short- and medium-term cash visibility for IREN Spain.
• Support payment preparation, review, documentation, and follow-up, ensuring that payment processes are accurate, properly authorised, recorded, and aligned with internal controls and corporate procedures.
• Coordinate operational banking matters, including bank account administration, authorised signatory updates, KYC requests, banking documentation, account access, and communication with financial institutions.
• Assist with the follow-up of funding, debt, intercompany financing, guarantees, and treasury-related documentation, maintaining organised records and supporting information requests from corporate finance, accounting, tax, legal, and external advisors.
• Support cash flow planning for operating costs, development activities, project-related commitments, supplier payments, and capital expenditure needs linked to IREN’s Spanish data center platform.
• Prepare treasury reporting inputs, reconciliations, variance explanations, and supporting analysis for internal management reviews, corporate reporting, audits, and financing processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of treasury processes, controls, templates, payment routines, filing practices, and banking workflows, supporting a consistent and scalable finance operating model for IREN Spain.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, banking operations, accounting, financial control, or finance operations within infrastructure, energy, real estate, data centers, or international corporate environments.
• Good understanding of cash flow management, payment processes, banking administration, treasury controls, KYC documentation, intercompany funding, guarantees, and finance reporting requirements.
• Ability to organise financial information, payment documentation, bank records, trackers, reconciliations, and reporting inputs in a clear, accurate, and structured manner.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools; experience with ERP systems, online banking platforms, treasury management systems, SAP, or Power BI will be positively valued.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical capability, confidentiality, communication skills, and ability to coordinate effectively with internal finance teams, banks, advisors, and corporate stakeholders.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English are required; experience in international, high-growth, infrastructure, energy, or technology environments will be positively valued.
