A leading travel services company is seeking a Remote Travel Counselor to provide exceptional service to corporate clients. You will arrange complex travel options and ensure compliance with travel policies, all while using your expertise in Amadeus GDS. Candidates must be fluent in German, with a strong understanding of the travel industry. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Formación

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Experience with Amadeus or similar GDS.
  • Familiarity with business and leisure travel.

Overview

As a Travel Counselor, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients.

Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations
  • Use of Amadeus Global Distribution System - Refreshment training may be provided
  • Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests
  • Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

Key Qualifications
  • Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs
  • Native GDS expertise (AMADEUS)
  • Two years minimum experience
  • Native or full working proficiency in GERMAN (written and verbal) is a must. ENGLISH and any additional European language could be considered a plus.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
  • We have specific colleagues dedicated to the night shift, however, please be flexible and prepared to work night shift on rotation, afternoon shifts and weekends.
