A leading medical technology company in Madrid is seeking a Senior Education Manager to build and execute educational strategies for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of experience in medical education, a BSc in Education or Human Resources, and fluency in English. This role offers flexible working arrangements, including remote options.

Formación

  • 8-10 years of Medical or Internal Education experience within Med-tech/Pharma.
  • Fluent English required.

Overview

Work Flexibility: Remote or Hybrid or Onsite

The Senior Education Manager, in alignment with brand/education strategy, builds internal and/or external learning strategy, training curriculum and delivers/evaluates education programme effectiveness.

Travel: 40%

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes education plan that is aligned with central European strategy in collaboration with all internal stakeholders including Brand managers and Sales leaders.
  • Follow up best-in-class learning trends and re-evaluate and continuously improve the learning experience.
Key Activities
  • Develop, continuously update and execute internal education programs such as internal courses, online educational platform tools, online courses, etc., and/or external education programs such as sawbones courses, cadaveric courses, online education, etc.
  • Develops new customer engagement programs and events supporting our strategic goals and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and deploy digital tools to facilitate learning. Development of and ensuring up to date sales training curriculum and material.
  • Develop, schedule and communicate a calendar of internal and external education events.
  • Document and store internal training participant list for audit purposes.
  • Partner with surgeon KOLs to ensure high quality faculty at internal and external education activities.
  • Audit selling capability and knowledge base of sales channels regardless of experience and tenure within the company. Build a plan to close the gaps identified.
  • Allocate and manage the education budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure that educational activities across EMEA markets are coordinated and cohesive, helping to drive agreed goals and strategies.
  • May have responsibility for clinical research in collaboration with Brand Management.
Qualifications / Tenure

Required:

  • 8-10 years of Medical or Internal Education which a significant portion is within Med-tech / Pharma industry.
  • BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field.
  • Fluent English

Preferred:

  • 4 years in a People Management role
  • Certification in training
Experience / Skills
  • Proven experience in Training coordination / Clinical Education Manager role.
  • Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques.
  • Understanding of sales process, preferably within relevant medical business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
