Your Role

Are you a budding talent eager to dive into the dynamic world of pet nutrition? As a trainee at Affinity Petcare, you'll have the exciting opportunity to join our Digital Products team and support a pivotal phase in our digital ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in digital operations, product information management, and content governance.

You will work with a modern, best‑in‑class digital technology stack, gaining exposure to advanced tools that manage product data, content, and customer experience across multiple markets. This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across teams, engage with diverse stakeholders, and learn how structured data and governance practices drive large‑scale digital transformation. Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring that product data is accurate, enriched, and consistent across systems, setting the foundation for both operational excellence and customer‑facing success.

What you will do

• Support the monitoring, auditing, and checking of product data within the PIM (Product Information Management Platform) to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and proper structure across brands. Proactively identify and flag data gaps or issues affecting digital readiness and performance.
• Support the Master Data and Marketing, and other teams in product data tasks and resolving basic data needs or queries.
• Contribute to content enrichment by suggesting improvements and maintaining product data quality across digital channels.
• Assist in documenting processes, guidelines, and reports related to product data management, while contributing to knowledge sharing by recording findings, FAQs, and recurring product data issues to support continuous improvement.
• Proactively explore and analyze the PIM and DAM (Digital Asset Management Platform) functionalities to identify opportunities for optimizing workflows and enhancing daily product data and content management efficiencies.
• Support the adoption and effective use of the PIM and DAM platforms by collaborating with team members and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and accelerate the completion of product data fields by using Artificial Intelligence tools and solutions.

What we are looking for

• Ongoing studies or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Management, Data Science, or other related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to tasks.
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and follow up with different stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
