Job summary

Suntransfers, a leading airport ground transportation provider in Spain, is seeking a Trading Executive to support and execute the day-to-day trading strategy in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. You will monitor market activity, manage commercial opportunities, and help deliver revenue and margin targets.

The role requires strong analytical ability, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the confidence to make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Trading Manager to ensure competitive prices on sale.
• Analyse trading data and produce regular performance reports.
• Track KPIs including revenue, margin, volume and profitability.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and trading plans.
• Manage pricing, promotions and inventory exposure as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing and senior management.
• Investigate trading variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate trading records and ensure processes and controls.
• Contribute to weekly/monthly trading reviews and insights for stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external commercial partners.

About the Role

Our innovative and growing company is looking to recruit a Trading Executive who has a passion for numbers and the drive to keep Suntransfers as the market leader in Airport Ground Transportation.

This role will be pivotal to our overall success. The Trading Executive is responsible for supporting and executing the day-to-day trading strategy, monitoring market activity, managing commercial opportunities, and helping deliver revenue and margin targets. The role requires strong analytical ability, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

To support the Trading Manager in ensuring the most competitive prices are on sale at all times, by carrying out the following duties:

• Monitor market, competitor, customer, and product performance.
• Execute trading activity in line with agreed commercial and risk parameters.
• Analyse trading data and produce regular performance reports.
• Track key KPIs, including revenue, margin, volume, conversion, availability and profitability.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and trading plans.
• Manage pricing, promotions, inventory or exposure as relevant to the business.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing and senior management.
• Investigate trading variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate trading records and ensure processes and controls are followed.
• Contribute to weekly/monthly trading reviews and present relevant insights to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external commercial partners
