Indie Campers is offering a paid internship at the Barcelona Depot in Gavà, Spain. You will welcome guests, set them up for road trips, and ensure a memorable journey from start to finish. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates in hospitality and related fields who thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, sales, and operations while supporting the team across front-office and back-office activities.

Formación

• Seeking student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or related field.
• Fluent in English; work permit if applicable; valid driver’s licence for both vehicle types.
• Enjoys international environments and meeting new cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Front-office: greet guests, check-ins/outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan features, terms and up-sell extras.
• Back-office: coordinate reservations with available campers, prepare road trip kits, verify stock.
• Quality control: maintain campervans, identify maintenance needs, coordinate fleet readiness.
• Support: assist with stock monitoring, fleet coordination, and troubleshooting operational issues.

THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for passionate students or recent graduates who want to dive into the exciting world of RV and campervan rentals and gain hands‑on tourism experience at our Barcelona Depot at Carrer de la Ciència, 26, 08850 Gavà, Spain.

As our Tourism & Operations Intern , you’ll be the friendly face of our brand - welcoming guests, setting them up for road trips of a lifetime, and ensuring their journey ends just as wonderfully as it began. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Front-office activities:

• Customer service and sales: Take care of check‑ins and check‑outs, register guests,process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, upsell road tripextras.

Back-office activities:

• Operations handling: Align the reservations with the available campervans, verify andprepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
• Quality control: Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possiblemaintenance or repair needs.
• Support activities: Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleetof campervans, troubleshooting operational issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, BusinessAdministration or a related field looking for an internship;
• You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles);
• You like international environments and meeting new cultures;
• You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer serviceorientation;
• You have a problem‑solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
