A leading tourism organization is seeking a professional to lead the development of strategic relationships in the tourism sector in Madrid. The role focuses on establishing the organization as a reference in tourism experiences, particularly in the MICE segment. Candidates should have proven sales experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Proven experience in sales within the tourism and MICE sector.

  • High proficiency in English and the local language.

Key Responsibilities
  • PromotethebrandtoestablishitspositionasaleaderintourismexperiencesthroughB2Bchannels.
  • Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithtourismsectorpartnersincludingdestinationmarketingorganizations,touroperators,travelagencies,conciergeassociations,localattractions,restaurants,andothercollaborators.
  • Developpartnershipswithcorporateentitiesacrossvarioussectorstocreatejointmarketingpackagesandopportunities.
  • ManagethetourismCRMprogramandtoolssuchasSalesforceorsimilarplatforms.
  • DesignandimplementMICEstrategiestopositiontheorganizationasavenueforevents,incentives,andmeetings.
  • Collaboratewithmarketingteamstodevelopcampaignstargetingconferences,tradeshows,andevents.
  • Createcustomizedpackagesforthird-partysalesandonlineplatforms.
  • Distributetourismmarketingmaterialsandcoordinatecampaignswithpartners.
  • Attendindustryevents,tradeshows,andseminars.
  • Supporttheoptimizationofdigitalandsocialmediaopportunitiesinthetourismarea.
Requirements
  • ProvenexperienceinsaleswithinthetourismandMICEse,withinternationalexperiencevalued.
  • Backgroundintourism,hospitality,orpremium / luxurybrands.
  • ProficiencyinofficetoolsandCRMsystems(e.g.,Salesforce).
  • Knowledgeofthetravel,hospitality,andretailsectors.
  • Familiaritywithregionalandnationaltourismofferings.
  • Experienceworkingwithtouroperatorsanddestinationmanagementcompanies.
