Thales in Madrid is offering an internship in Threat Hunting and Incident Response. You will join a team that analyzes security alerts, investigates incidents, and helps detect evolving threats while gaining hands-on experience in a real cybersecurity program.

We welcome students or recent graduates in Cybersecurity or related fields who have basic knowledge of operating systems and networks, a strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Support threat hunting and the analysis of security alerts, events and incidents.
• Identify suspicious behaviour and potential indicators of compromise.
• Help monitor security platforms and document incidents, reports and procedures.
• Contribute to improving detection and response processes while tracking emerging threats.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field .
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, networks and information security.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, teamwork and a strong interest in Threat Hunting and Incident Response.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Availability to work 8 hours per day in Madrid under a hybrid model .

Nice to have

• Exposure to SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOC, Threat Hunting or Incident Response .
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, MITRE ATT&CK, log analysis, CTFs or cybersecurity labs .
