A global leader in digital security seeks a Security Site Manager in Madrid. You will be responsible for developing crisis management strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with security regulations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have at least 5 years of experience in security management. Security Site Manager – Thales CDI, Madrid

Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain

Education & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience or certifications aligned with a CISO profile (CISSP, CISA, CISM).
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Technical Experience

• Proven ability to develop and deploy Crisis Management Plans in international organizations.
• In-depth understanding of Security Management principles and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) standards.
• A strong grasp of local, national, and international security regulations, including
• ISO 27001 implementation.
• ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) frameworks.
• Experience conducting audits to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
• Solid knowledge of IT Security concepts, including
• Cybersecurity principles (firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, etc.).
• Threat analysis and remediation processes.
• Familiarity with physical security measures and integration with IT security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and their application to secure software development.
• Experience in developing and maintaining security awareness programs for employees.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, IT security or a related field.
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is a plus.
