HP España is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Detection & Response Engineer to defend the enterprise against evolving attacks. You will join the Threat Detection & Response team, performing threat hunts, incident analysis, and remediation planning across HP systems.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in security operations, incident response, or threat hunting, familiarity with security analytics and EDR platforms, and relevant certifications; weekend on-call may be required in Spain.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat hunting.
• Experience developing threat-hunting hypotheses and testing with security platforms.
• Knowledge of common enterprise security technologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Scope the extent and impact of attacks or breaches within the HP environment.
• Resolve security issues related to incidents and threats through analysis and research.
• Support incident escalation, assess damages, and aid in remediation planning.
• Threat hunt the HP environment for known or emerging TTPs.
• Identify security system attacks, analyze incidents, and research countermeasures to strengthen defenses.
