Job description

Third Party Risk Management Team Lead (m/f/d)

104130 | Risk Management | Management | Non-Executive | Allianz Services | Full-Time | Permanent

130 years of trust, time to shape what's next. Allianz Group is one of the world's leading insurers and asset managers - built on over a century of stability, expertise, and financial strength. Allianz Services is where that legacy meets the future. 8,200+ people. Eight countries. Three continents. We deliver specialized services to clients within Allianz Group, powered by AI, advanced analytics, and a mindset that refuses to stand still. From core insurance operations to engineering and consulting services, we reimagine how insurance works. What truly sets us apart are our people and the trusted partnerships we build, anchored in our values of expertise, integrity, and empowerment. We don't support the business. We shape it.

Role Overview

The TPRM Team Lead (m/f/d) will be responsible for managing the delivery organization in Spain that provides Third Party Risk Management services to Allianz entities globally, with direct delivery responsibilities for a key client entity. The role oversees a team that may include team leads, TPRM experts, and senior experts, adjusts team capacity and skills to demand, and ensures day-to-day service delivery, while personally performing TPRM officer tasks for a relevant Allianz entity to maintain a strong, hands-on connection with client work.

What you do:

Service Delivery

  • Service Delivery Management of TPRM as a service delivered from the Spain hub to Allianz entities across the Group (SLAs, quality, capacity).
  • Incident and problem management for the service.
  • Execution of test strategy, quality checklists, and reporting metrics for entities served, in line with global Digital Resilience standards.
  • Perform TPRM officer activities (e.g., third-party risk assessments, due diligence reviews, ongoing monitoring) for a designated Allianz entity.

Team & People Management

  • Direct management of a team comprising TPRM experts, senior experts, and potentially team leads, depending on final team structure.
  • Adjust team capacity, structure, and skills to match evolving service demand.
  • Resource planning, skills development, and performance management across the team.
  • Building a culture of integrity, excellence, and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Alignment with Global Service Line

  • Coordinate with the global Digital Resilience on governance framework, policies, and methodology.
  • Escalate and coordinate contract change requirements and regulatory changes with the Global Service Line.

Tooling & Continuous Improvement

  • Operate and maintain proficiency in relevant TPRM tools (e.g., ORGS, ServiceNow, SAP Ariba) as defined by the global service line.
  • Identify automation and data quality improvement opportunities and feed them into the global roadmap.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Represent the Spain hub's TPRM delivery team in relevant governance and coordination forums.

What you bring:

  • Degree in Economics, Business, Law, IT, Risk Management, or Finance, with 8 to 10 years of experience in audit, finance, operational risk, IT, regulatory, or related business line activities.
  • Proven hands-on experience delivering TPRM assessments, reviews, or audits directly to clients or stakeholders, not only managing others who do so.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams of specialists/experts; experience managing team leads or multi-layer structures is a plus.
  • Experience in a shared services, delivery center, or financial services environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of TPRM/operational risk frameworks and regulatory context (e.g., DORA).
  • High fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work in international, virtual teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ORGS/ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Experience interacting with colleagues in a multinational environment.

What we offer:

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).
  • From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.
  • Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.
