Kings College School Soto de Viñuelas is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Temporary Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team to cover a long-term period of absence. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of mathematics and support all pupils in reaching their full potential.
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 (Years 713) including IGCSE and A Level.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
Assess record and report on student progress in line with departmental and school policies.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics curriculum and departmental resources.
Support and guide students in preparing for external examinations.
Create a positive inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Participate in departmental meetings school events and professional development opportunities.
Uphold the schools values and contribute to the wider pastoral life of the Secondary School
A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level ideally within a British or international school.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students across all abilities.
Excellent classroom management communication and organisational skills.
A collaborative approach and a commitment to professional growth.
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
