Placements24 seeks a capable Telecoms Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support across Queenstown and nearby locations. You will install, maintain, and repair telecom equipment, ensuring top-tier service and reliable network performance for clients.

Required are 3–5 years in telecom field service and a Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications, plus a valid driver's license. Company vehicle, benefits, and ongoing training are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 3–5 years of field service experience in telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of RAN, microwave links, and fiber optics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, and test telecom hardware and software at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on network equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues including hardware, software, and network problems.
• Provide emergency field support and respond to urgent service calls.
• Document all service activities and parts used.
• Liaise with central support to escalate unresolved issues.
