Management & Soul is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the manufacturing technology strategy across production facilities in a dynamic, international setting. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will head Maintenance and Engineering teams, drive automation, and push Industry 4.0 initiatives.

The role focuses on improving efficiency, equipment performance, and digital integration in punching, bending, forming and assembly processes.

Formación

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial or technology leadership role within manufacturing.
  • Experience in metal manufacturing processes (punching, bending, forming, machining or assembly).
  • Strong background in CAPEX investments and project management.
  • Proven knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies.

Responsabilidades

  • Define and execute the manufacturing technology roadmap aligned with objectives.
  • Lead and develop Maintenance and Engineering teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement across punching, bending, forming and assembly.
  • Identify, evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation.
  • Oversee industrial engineering activities: process optimization, cycle-time, OEE.
  • Manage CAPEX projects related to new equipment and automation.
  • Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives: data collection, MES integration and predictive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality and New Project Development teams.
  • Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, integrators and technology partners.

We are collaborating with a leading international industrial group with a strong presence in more than 20 countries and decades of experience in the design, manufacturing and distribution of advanced equipment and solutions.

With a strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence and technological development, the company is looking for a Technology Manager to play a key role in the evolution of its manufacturing operations.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Technology Manager will be responsible for leading the manufacturing technology strategy and its implementation across the company's production facilities.

The role leads the Maintenance and Engineering teams, with a strong focus on equipment reliability, continuous process improvement, automation and the successful execution of industrial projects.

A key part of the position will be improving production efficiency, equipment performance and digital integration across punching, bending, forming and assembly processes.

We are looking for an experienced industrial professional who combines technical expertise, leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach, and who is comfortable working within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the company's manufacturing technology roadmap, aligned with business and operational objectives.
  • Lead and develop the Maintenance and Engineering teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across punching, bending, forming and assembly processes.
  • Identify, evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
  • Oversee industrial engineering activities, including process optimization, cycle-time reduction and OEE improvement.
  • Manage CAPEX projects related to new equipment, machinery upgrades, automation and digital manufacturing tools.
  • Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives, including data collection, traceability, MES integration and predictive maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality and New Project Development teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, integrators and technology partners.
Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or technology leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in metal manufacturing processes, such as punching, bending, forming, machining and/or assembly.
  • Experience managing industrial projects and CAPEX investments.
  • Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of CNC machinery, automation systems and industrial production equipment.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing data analysis.
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 and smart factory concepts.
Languages
  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution approach.
