Universitat de Barcelona seeks a First Stage Researcher to provide technical support for the production of advanced therapy drugs, including lentiviral particles, cell therapy, and tissue engineering products. The role requires 1–4 years of research experience and knowledge of GMP standards.

The contract is temporary and part of the Horizon Europe programme. Applicants should have English, Spanish and Catalan language skills at Good level.

Offer Description

Technical support to the laboratory for the production of advanced therapy drugs, both in the production of lentiviral particles and cell therapy and tissue engineering products.

Gross salary per year: 31.024,10 €.

Application deadline: from July 16 to 29, 2026, both inclusive.

Knowledge of laboratory techniques that include cell cultures and/or virus production, as well as quality regulations; ISO, GLP or NCF.

Additional Information

Eligibility Criteria

The selection is made through theevaluation of the curriculum, with an overall score of zero (0) to ten (10) points. The minimum score is five (5) points. The evaluation criteria are the following:

• Suitability of the candidate to the main function to be carried out
• Curricular experience
• Professional knowledge and skills
• Communication skills and motivation.

The tribunal, in its constitutive session, assesses the CVs of the candidates presented.

Selection Process

A resolution of adjudication is issued to the person who, having passed the selection procedure, obtains the highest score and publishes the prioritised list of applicants who have passed the selection process, indicating the scores obtained, for subsequent recruitment, if necessary.

Additional Comments

Duration of the contract of employment:12 months, renewable up to 31/08/2031.

The candidate proposed for hiring must accept the job offer within 5 working days from the date of notification of the selection.
