Destinus is seeking a hands-on Technical Support Specialist to keep our office IT running smoothly. You will support users across Windows, macOS and Linux, maintain Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, and manage hardware, printers, network gear, and remote tools to ensure seamless daily operations.

You’ll diagnose issues, set up new devices, assist with IT purchases, and produce user guides. Fluency in English and at least 3 years in a technical role are required, with a proactive,

Formación

• Degree in information technology or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role with a wide range of responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Windows and its installation and administration.
• Configuration and use of virtualization of computing resources.
• Experience in configuring and supporting engineering software (CAD, PLM, CFD, etc.).
• Knowledge and management of Microsoft365 & Active directory (users, groups, etc).
• Setting up network equipment including switches, firewalls.
• Organization of work with remote users (remote work and support tools, communication).
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Providing support to users both online and offline for corporate hardware and software issues.
• Performing initial diagnostics when hardware or software problems occur.
• Restoring devices and systems to working order, except for complex or major repairs.
• Setting up new computers (laptops and desktops) for users, whether on Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Installing and connecting office equipment like printers and scanners to the office computer networks.
• Checking, in some cases, configuring network equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Handling the transfer of faulty equipment for repairs and confirming it's back in working condition afterward.
• Assisting with the purchase of necessary equipment by helping to define requirements and accepting deliveries.
• Managing user accounts within our information systems.
• Setting up user access permissions for the company's IT resources.
• Keeping an eye on equipment performance, network operation, and user activity to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Creating user guides to help staff effectively use equipment and software.
