Tamarind Intelligence is seeking a skilled automotive diagnostics specialist to provide expert support to workshops in the Swedish market. The role focuses on diagnosing complex faults, interpreting electrical diagrams, and guiding engineers toward robust solutions.

Responsibilities include remote assistance via calls and email, collaboration with international teams, and ongoing participation in training. A permanent, full-time position with a 39-hour week is offered in a flexible remote/hybrid

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a passenger car workshop.

If you have experience working in automotive workshops, enjoy investigating complex vehicle faults, and would like to continue developing your technical expertise in a remote and international environment, this opportunity could be for you.

You will provide technical support to automotive workshops, listening to their queries, analysing the available information, and guiding fellow mechanics towards the best technical solution.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for mechanics with experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting complex vehicle faults, who enjoy sharing their knowledge and helping other automotive professionals find technical solutions.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a passenger car workshop.
• Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting complex vehicle faults.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical procedures clearly and effectively.
• Minimum B2 level of English to participate in meetings, training sessions, and internal communications.
• Swedish language proficiency at C2, bilingual, or equivalent level.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in technical support or remote assistance.
• Vocational training in Automotive Technology, Electromechanics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles (EV/HEV).
• Experience using an oscilloscope for advanced diagnostics.
• Experience in CAN network diagnostics and automotive electronic systems.

What will your mission be?

You will join our Technical Hotline team, providing specialised technical support to automotive workshops in the Swedish market.

Your main objective will be to help other professionals identify, diagnose, and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Answer technical queries from workshops via phone and email.

Flexible Working Model

Our Selection Process

1. Talent Acquisition Interview
   We want to get to know you, learn more about your experience, and validate the key requirements for the position.
2. Technical Interview
   We will assess your knowledge of diagnostics, electromechanics, electrical systems, hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as your analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
3. Final Interview
   Conversation with the Hiring Manager.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a passenger car automotive workshop.
• C2, bilingual, or equivalent proficiency in Swedish.
• Minimum B2 level of English
