A leading company in cooling solutions in Madrid is seeking an experienced refrigeration technician to provide technical support for their HVAC/R product portfolio. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields and 3–5 years of experience in the industry. The technician will collaborate with sales teams and customers, delivering impactful presentations and solving technical challenges. Excellent Spanish and good English required. This position involves occasional travel within the Iberia region.

Formación

Overview

The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is looking for an experienced refrigeration technician, based in Danfoss Madrid site, who will be responsible for providing world class technical support for the Danfoss Product Portfolio for Cooling division. In this position, you will work closely with Regional Sales Managers and provide technical support for Danfoss products, related to the Cooling segment, to our customers: wholesalers and small OEMs in Iberia. You will be part of a South West regional team. You will provide expertise on components / systems, problem-solving skills and general support in the selection and application of Danfoss products.

Responsibilities

• Be the go‑to technical and quality expert for our customers and sales teams – providing hands‑on support via phone, online meetings, and on‑site visits, acting as the main contact for quality and application‑related topics, and ensuring products are installed and handled to the highest standards.
• Inspire and educate by delivering impactful product and training presentations, introducing innovative new solutions to both internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate across Danfoss Cooling – working closely with engineering, factory, product management, and customer service to solve challenges and meet customer needs.
• Drive project success by identifying critical technical factors in customer applications and leading initiatives to achieve them.
• Build lasting partnerships with key decision makers, strengthening relationships and creating opportunities for future growth.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or 3–5+ years of professional experience in the HVAC / R industry.
• Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of vapor compression systems, heat transfer processes, and product technologies. Solid understanding of compressor technology, condensing units, and related applications. Familiarity with the Danfoss portfolio, including expansion valves, control valves, heat exchangers, and electronic components.
• Customer & Team Orientation – Proven ability to coordinate effectively, communicate clearly, and build strong relationships. A collaborative team player who thrives in a global environment.
• Languages – Excellent command of Spanish and good command of English. Knowledge of French and / or Italian is an advantage.
• Mobility – Willingness to travel occasionally within the Iberia region.
