A global company is seeking a Technical Sales Support Engineer to join their sales team in Spain/Portugal. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and experience with mineral processing equipment. Responsibilities include conducting technical audits, supporting customers for mill lining optimisation, and working closely with sales managers. Fluency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese is required. This role involves significant travel across Southern Europe and Morocco.

Formación

• A Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Engineer.
• Experience with mineral processing equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of mill lining process and applications.
• Experience working in a customer-facing and service orientated environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Conducting on site technical audits in collaboration with regional sales managers.
• Supporting customers for continuous optimisation on mill lining products.
• Performing as local product expert for mill lining product and related services.
• Handling field requirements such as measurements and material selection.
• Making reports and evaluations from wear readings.
• Working with Product Line on proposal drawings for optimisation.
• Spending at least 50% of time at client sites.

Technical Sales Support - Mill Liners - Spain / Portugal

Do you have experience working in the mining industry in a customer-facing environment?

Are you entrepreneurial and self-driven?

We are looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer to work within the South Europe and North Africa sales team for a global company who provide end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries. The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish and / or Portuguese.

The role will be based in Spain / Portugal with 50% travel across Southern Europe and Morocco, and report to the Service Sales Manager SENA. It will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers through comprehensive understanding of the products, support software, and application areas.

Main Responsibilities

• Conducting on site technical audits in collaboration with regional sales managers and after-sales service technicians from the SENA region.
• Supporting SENA customers for continuous optimisation on mill lining products.
• Performing as local product expert for mill lining product and related services.
• Handling all field requirements such as field measurements, work scope development, parts recommendations, material selection, and product application.
• Making reports, evaluations from the wear readings, visualising in CAD drawings.
• Working with Product Line on proposal drawings for liner optimisation.
• Be prepared to spend at least 50% of the time at client sites
