JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a District Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in Power and Primary Metals. You will oversee the sales and service team in Spain, focusing on overall revenue growth and profitability of programs and services in targeted accounts. Using a consultative sales approach, you will build relationships with existing customers by implementing system assurance programs that address their key business needs. You will also lead strategic efforts to convert competitive accounts and introduce new technologies to current and prospective clients, emphasizing value-added selling.

What You Will Do :

  • Drive profit growth by developing and executing a district plan to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate across functional areas and interact regularly with senior management to meet objectives.

  • Develop business plans based on market drivers and analytics, adjusting as needed for market shifts and emerging threats.
  • Lead and champion corporate initiatives, including planning and conducting district meetings.
  • Provide coaching and development for sales engineers and technical service teams to maintain value creation.
  • Ensure new hires meet training standards to discuss products and services effectively.
  • Address performance issues promptly, maintaining documentation and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the team in identifying trends, understanding market conditions, and sharing expertise.
  • Communicate a clear vision aligned with strategic goals.
  • Build strong relationships with large, strategic, current, and prospective customers to understand their business needs.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams
  • 5+ years of successful technical or outside sales experience with a consultative approach
  • Ability to travel as required within the district

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry); MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of successful technical or outside sales experience, including managing relationships at multiple organizational levels and engaging with executive management
  • Extensive knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems is highly preferred
