Safran in Granada, Spain, seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead R&D projects for the Optronics team. You will define schedules, monitor plans, and manage costs using SAP, while identifying risks and ensuring quality throughout development and industrialization.

The role requires engineering degrees, solid English, and experience in electronics, embedded software, and systems engineering, with the ability to work in an intercultural setting.

Formación

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Good written and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of electronics, embedded software, systems engineering.
• Experience in engineering project development: methodologies, V&V cycle, metrics, milestones, certification.

Responsabilidades

• Defining schedule and planning for projects.
• Ensuring adherence to project plan by regular follow-up and meetings.
• Financial controlling: income and expenses for every project (SAP).
• Identifying risks and/or deviations to baseline, not only in planning and cost, but also in technical activities.
• Negotiating changes in the scope of projects with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring technical team sticks to development quality standards (Engineering Quality).
• Preparing industrialization of the product.
• Reporting status of projects to the Program Manager.

The Position:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a key member of our R&D team in Granada, Spain. You will be involved in the development and follow-up of projects for our Optronics team.

What you’ll be doing:

What you Bring to Safran:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Good written and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following fields: Electronics, embedded software, systems engineering.
• Experience in engineering project s development: methodologies, V&V cycle, metrics, project milestones, certification.
• Passion, energy and motivation to participate in international environment.
• Capacity for teamwork, organization skills and autonomous work.
• Required experience in: Project Management. Engineering: technical background. Electronics. Teamplayer in an inter-cultural environment.
• Desirable experience in: Aeronautics standards: DO-254, DO-178, AC 20-152, AR INC, other EASA / FAA norms. Optro-electronic systems and/or inertial systems. Aerospace industry. Defense market.
