The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on DevOps experience, with excellence in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT companies.
  • Hands-on experience with production incidents, root cause analysis, postmortems, and understanding of reliability concepts.

  • Strong background in Scrum/Kanban/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the DevOps team to develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure and processes.
  • Partner with engineering leads to prioritize technical debt and feature/infrastructure delivery work within the DevOps backlog - infrastructure upgrades, CI/CD pipeline improvements, monitoring/observability initiatives, security-related infrastructure work, incident postmortems and follow-ups.
  • Plan and track infrastructure and platform engineering work at the task level - breaking down infrastructure epics into actionable tickets, estimating effort with engineers, and sequencing dependencies (e.g., migrations, environment provisioning, tooling rollouts).
  • Coordinate DevOps on-call/incident processes with the team, ensuring incidents are logged, tracked, and followed up with corrective action items.
  • Bridge communication between business, development and DevOps teams.
  • Define and maintain roadmap and coordinate sprints.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to infrastructure reliability, security, and financial compliance.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: planning, daily standups, retrospectives.
