The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of industry experience, focusing on team leadership and continuous improvement practices. Formación

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industry, preferably in automotive.

About the Position – We are looking to hire a Technical Manager to join our Technical Department at our Pedrola plant. The selected candidate will ensure the efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement of automotive production facilities. They will lead the technical team, drive innovation, and guarantee compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and customer standards, while optimising costs and operational performance.

The responsibilities of the position include :
  • Technical management of industrial facilities and equipment.
  • Lead investment projects (new lines, equipment modernization, automation).
  • Coordinate with process engineering, quality, and production in the commissioning of new products.
  • Internal and external technical liaison
  • Act as the technical point of contact with production, quality, engineering, and management.
  • Technical leadership and team management
  • Lead and coordinate the technical team, promoting training and compliance with best practices.
  • Coordinate with technical suppliers and machinery manufacturers.
  • Propose and oversee technical improvements in processes, products, or services.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement projects, ensuring the achievement of productivity, cost, and safety objectives.
  • Promote the implementation of Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, TPM, Kanban, etc.) in production or service processes.
Experience and Education
  • Academic Background : Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineer or similar equivalent degree.
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in industry, preferably in the automotive sector or related fields (metal, components, etc.) Experience in collaborating with or leading technical teams.
