D.med Software S.L.U., based in Málaga, seeks a Technical Lead Embedded Software to drive architecture and development for medical devices. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with hardware, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and quality.

The role requires extensive experience in safety-critical environments, strong software architecture skills, and hands-on leadership. Hybrid work in Málaga with a permanent contract and growth opportunities are offered.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Experience in safety-critical and regulated environments.
• Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of software for medical devices.
• Coordinate and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, regulatory and industrial design teams.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, and validation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, etc.).
• Participate in code reviews, risk analyses, and architecture evaluations.
• Manage technical project planning: estimates, priorities, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure software quality through testing and automation practices.
• Interact directly with clients to define requirements and technical solutions.
