Verisure is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to shape the AI Platform's technical vision and architecture in Madrid. You will drive design decisions, set engineering standards, and contribute code while mentoring engineers across AI, data science, and infrastructure teams.

You will ensure a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platform with strong observability and FinOps practices, partnering with security and architecture to deliver reliable AI solutions.

Formación

• Extensive experience in MLOps, AIOps, platform engineering, or production AI systems.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer.
• Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of ML lifecycle, LLMOps, AgentOps, and AI governance.

We're looking for a Technical Lead to drive the technical vision, architecture, and engineering excellence of our AI Platform, supporting MLOps, LLMOps, AgentOps, and AI solutions at scale.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical strategy with active engineering contributions. You'll work closely with the Product Owner, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Infrastructure teams to ensure our platform is secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the technical architecture and long-term vision of the AI Platform.
• Lead key design decisions and establish engineering standards and best practices.
• Design and build critical platform components and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive platform reliability, observability, security, scalability, and FinOps initiatives.
• Lead LLMOps and AgentOps engineering practices, including monitoring, governance, and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, coaching, and technical leadership.
• Support backlog prioritization with technical feasibility, risk, and effort assessments.
• Partner with Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams on strategic initiatives.

Good fit if you have

• Extensive experience in MLOps, AIOps, platform engineering, or production AI systems.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer.
• Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Kubernetes & Docker
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Observability and monitoring tools
• Solid understanding of ML, LLMOps, AgentOps, RAG architectures, and AI lifecycle management.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SageMaker, Azure ML, MLflow, or Kubeflow.
• Knowledge of Speech Analytics and conversational AI.
• Experience building AI Agents, Copilots, or GenAI solutions.
• FinOps experience for AI workloads.
• AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications.
• Experience in regulated environments and AI governance.
