Verisure in Madrid is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join the Marketing & Sales team, responsible for QA across three development squads and ensuring consistent standards. This role reports to the QA Lead and the Team Leader of the Marketing domain.

You will lead QA strategy, promote knowledge sharing, align tools with QA discipline, and drive AI adoption in test automation across the initiative, with a hybrid work model from Madrid offices.

Formación

• Master/B.A. in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Minimum 5 years coordinating QA across multiple teams.
• Minimum 8 years in testing.
• Hands-on with agentic AI tools for testing.
• Experience promoting AI-driven test automation.
• Experience with testing plugins in JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience with automated testing tools: WebdriverIO, RestAssured, Playwright.
• Experience in international, multi-team environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies/SDLC.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Marketing & Sales team, who will be responsible for the quality of a strategic project involving three development Squads, ensuring consistent standards, shared knowledge, and the adoption of AI-driven testing practices across the initiative.

This role will be part of the Marketing & Sales domain, reporting functionally to the QA Lead and organizationally to the Team Leader of the Marketing domain.

• Support to the end-to-end quality of the strategic project, acting as the single point of accountability for QA across the three development Squads involved.

• Promote cross-Squad knowledge sharing among the QA engineers of each Squad, fostering a culture where everyone understands the full scope of the project so that all QAs know about all parts of the system ("everyone knows everything").

• Align the implementation and tools used with the QA discipline in the company. Collaborate with the discipline to create best-in-class QA processes.

• Co-lead the execution of the QA strategy and the implementation of this way of working in each Squad, aligned with the priorities and situation of each project.

• Work together with the Service/Maintenance team, QA team and developers to drive production bugs to zero.

• Implement a continuous improvement mindset within the QA team and other members of the project with the objective of maximizing quality in production.

• Improve testing processes, including the implementation of E2E scenarios covering critical processes.

• Act as the project's champion for AI adoption in QA, actively promoting how AI can help the team in test automation and the generation of test/use cases.

• Bring hands-on experience with agentic AI, having previously used agentic AI solutions to make testing more efficient in complex projects, and apply that experience to accelerate testing across the three Squads.

• Support QA Leads with strategic vision and leadership, enabling alignment, collaboration, and consistent execution of quality objectives across the platform.

Requirements

• Master/B.A. in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.

• English B2.

• 5+ years' experience in QA, with proven experience coordinating quality across multiple teams or squads.

• 8+ years' experience in testing.

• Proven, hands-on experience with agentic AI tools applied to testing, using them to improve efficiency in complex projects.

• Strong interest and experience in promoting AI-driven test automation and AI-assisted test/use case generation.

• Experience with testing plugins in JIRA, Confluence.

• Experience with testing automation tools ( WebdriverIO, RestAssured, Playwright).

• Experience working in international, multi-team environments.

• Experience with Agile Methodologies/SDLC, Shift Left and tools: JIRA, Confluence, etc.

• Ability to clearly communicate with peers, managers and senior managers.

• Ability to quickly adopt and champion new technologies, particularly AI-based tools.
