ALTEN Delivery Centre Spain is seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to join a leading fintech client in a fully remote Spain-wide role. You will develop and manage the compliance program, ensuring adherence to AML/KYC, GDPR, and financial regulations while translating complex requirements into actionable policies.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in compliance within financial services/fintech, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years experience as Compliance Officer in financial services/fintech.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC, GDPR, and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program across the organization.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company's operations.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
• Oversee the investigation of potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are up-to-date and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
• Manage the company's AML and KYC processes.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required. English language skills are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
