Job summary

DKB Code Factory in Valencia seeks a Technical Business Analyst to translate strategic goals into API-first Premium Card capabilities and to produce implementation-ready requirements with reusable patterns for cross-team delivery.

You will work with Product, Engineering and Architecture to ensure measurable commercial impact, while leveraging AI with governance to accelerate drafting and validation of requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in product delivery.
• Experience in Agile software teams and supporting Product Owners through backlog refinement.
• Strong requirements elicitation and writing actionable user stories.
• Experience with API-first development, REST APIs and OpenAPI specs.
• Collaboration with Architects and Backend Engineers in integration-heavy environments.
• Experience modelling business processes and system interactions.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Experience in Payments, Cards or Financial Services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Join DKB Code Factory as a Technical Business Analyst and own the functional translation of strategic business goals into API-first Premium Card capabilities that drive measurable commercial impact. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Architecture to produce implementation-ready requirements and reusable capabilities that accelerate time-to-market, increase card engagement and improve customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic product goals into clear, implementation-ready user stories, functional specifications and testable acceptance criteria.
• Analyse API contracts, JSON payloads and integration patterns to ensure technical feasibility and reliable cross-service behaviour.
• Model As-Is and To-Be card processes and system interactions to inform design decisions and reduce delivery ambiguity.
• Lead backlog refinement and pre-grooming sessions to improve sprint readiness and reduce clarification cycles during implementation.
• Identify technical dependencies, regulatory constraints and integration risks early; coordinate mitigation with Architects and Compliance.
• Create reusable analysis artefacts, API guidance and patterns to be adopted across teams for consistent, scalable delivery.
• Apply AI responsibly to speed up drafting, validation and coverage of requirements while ensuring human oversight and governance.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or similar role within product delivery teams.
• Proven experience working in Agile software teams and supporting Product Owners through backlog refinement.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, user story writing and producing implementation-ready acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of API-first development, REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications; proven experience analysing payloads and integration flows.
• Experience collaborating with Software Architects and Backend Engineers in integration-heavy environments.
• Experience modelling business processes and system interactions.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Experience in Payments, Cards or Financial Services is a strong advantage. Knowledge of authentication/authorization concepts is beneficial.
