A leading technology firm is seeking a Technical Business Analyst in Valencia. The role involves translating business needs into technical specifications, collaborating with various teams, and supporting project lifecycles. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, solid analytical skills, and a minimum of two years of experience in business analysis, especially within the banking sector. Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Fluency in English (B2) and preferably in German.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst, particularly in agile environments.

Responsibilities
  • Technical and Functional Analysis: Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications, ensuring proper understanding by the development team.
  • Collaboration with the Product Owner: Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment between business requirements and project deliverables, driving clear communication and prioritization.
  • Development Support: Accompany the technical team throughout the entire project lifecycle, addressing functional or technical questions and ensuring correct implementation of requirements.
  • System and Architecture Analysis: Understand system architecture, component dependencies, and integrations with other services or APIs.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical and functional documentation (diagrams, data flows, specifications).
  • Active Participation in Scrum: Take part in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives), contributing to requirement clarity and prioritization.
  • Incident and Improvement Management: Analyze technical issues, propose solutions, and coordinate their resolution with the team.
  • Quality and Best Practices: Promote good analysis, design, and documentation practices within the team to enhance efficiency and traceability.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis or project management are preferred.
  • Fluency in English (at least B2). Fluency in German is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the banking sector is preferred.
  • Strong team player with experience working effectively with geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to understand integrations, data flows, and API specifications.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and development concepts (no programming required).
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills to address complex issues and deliver high‑impact solutions.
  • Experience with Scrum, actively participating in ceremonies and defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
Preferred Skills
  • At least 2‑4 years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong background in agile environments.
  • Experience in the banking sector, especially with asset management systems.
  • Proficiency in understanding APIs and data integration, with the ability to analyze and leverage data to inform business decisions.
  • Business process analysis and visualization of requirements.
  • Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies in an agile framework.
  • Strong team player, quick thinker, results‑oriented, adaptive, proactive communicator, well‑organized, and attentive to time management.
