Una empresa global de gases industriales busca un Contador Técnico en Cornellà de Llobregat. El candidato ideal tendrá 3-5 años de experiencia en la preparación de estados financieros, preferentemente en IFRS. Formación

  • Experiencia laboral de 3-5 años en la preparación de estados financieros anuales según IFRS.
  • Experiencia trabajando en un equipo internacional.
  • Conocimientos preferentes en IFRS.

Responsabilidades

  • Preparación oportuna de datos en base a GAAP local para informes externos.
  • Reportes mensuales conforme a US GAAP.
  • Preparación de estados financieros estatutarios locales.

We are looking for a Technical Accountant, based in Barcelona.

The job holder is a member of the Finance Technical Accounting Team and the job holder is in cooperation with the Finance Technical Accounting Team members and the Director of Accounting UK, Ireland, Central Europe, Middle East and India responsible for all key compliance deadlines of the Air Products legal entities.

As Technical Accountant, you will :

  • Timely and accurate data preparation on a local GAAP basis for external reporting to Tax Authorities, Auditors, Statistical Office and National Bank.
  • Timely month-end reporting for US GAAP in accordance with the Company’s Month-end Closing schedule.
  • The preparation of the local GAAP Statutory Financial Statements for the Air Products legal entities under the assigned responsibility in a timely manner which also includes the preparation of working papers and related schedules for the year-end audit process of the local GAAP Statutory Financial statements with the objective to obtain a clean sign-off audit opinion by the local GAAP year-end auditors.
  • The preparation of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly / quarterly basis in line with company policy. If the preparation of the account reconciliations requires the cooperation with peer groups and / or with other functional areas, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and filed correctly.
  • Under supervision of the Technical Accounting team leader, the job holder needs to set own priorities and work plan within the overall framework of the financial accounting group and corporate deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Study degree in Financial Accounting, preferrable IFRS background.
  • Working experience of 3-5 years in preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IRFS.
  • Working experience in an international team.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Working experience with SAP is considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a large multi-disciplined environment.
