Job summary

CIC biomaGUNE is a renowned non-profit research organisation located in Donostia-San Sebastián, focused on the interface of chemistry, physics and biology. We are seeking a capable administrator to manage IP filings, collaboration agreements, and funding calls across multiple projects.

The role requires sharp organisational skills, fluency in Spanish and English, and the ability to work with researchers and industry partners in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand scientific and technical information and translate it into clear administrative, commercial and reporting materials.
• Strong organisational skills, accuracy and ability to manage several files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good written and spoken Spanish and English. Knowledge of Basque will be valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing filing and prosecution of patents and trademarks and keeping IP portfolios and deadlines up to date.
• Preparing and processing confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements and collaboration agreements, and coordinating signature, filing, validity and contractual obligations.
• Identifying funding calls and monitoring projects, milestones, deliverables and partners.
• Supporting tailored technology and competitive intelligence reports for research groups and monitoring their use and impact.
