The University of A Coruña – CITIC Research Centre is seeking a Senior Manager – Technology Transfer and Innovation to lead the Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit, plan priorities and report on outcomes.

Responsibilities include analyzing research for valorisation, promoting innovation with industry, building ICT sector partnerships, identifying funding opportunities, coordinating contracts, and advising researchers on tech transfer.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or a Master’s degree at MECES level 3 is required.
• RTTP certification demonstrates recognized professional standards in tech transfer.
• Experience in technology transfer, commercialization and university–industry collaboration.
• Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills.
• Knowledge of research funding mechanisms and grant proposal development.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate the activities of the Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit, defining priorities, objectives and monitoring mechanisms, and preparing activity and result reports.
• Analyze research results to identify opportunities for valorisation and exploitation, facilitating transfer to the market.
• Promote innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives based on research outcomes, in collaboration with companies, investors and stakeholders.
• Build and strengthen relationships with companies and organisations in the ICT sector.
• Identify funding opportunities and support the preparation of proposals for R&D&I, innovation and technology transfer activities.
• Coordinate the preparation, processing and monitoring of contracts, agreements, technology transfer agreements and financial proposals.
• Manage, coordinate and monitor collaborative projects with public and private organisations.
• Advise research staff on technology transfer, commercialization and university‑industry collaboration.

• Experience in technology transfer, commercialization and university‑industry collaboration.
• Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills.
• Knowledge of research funding mechanisms and grant proposal development.
