Enginy, a Barcelona-based startup, is building the AI-native GTM platform for modern B2B teams. We’re hiring a Tech Lead who ships alongside the team, shaping architecture and engineering culture as we scale.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, write production code, mentor engineers, set standards, and partner with Product to deliver high-impact features at fast velocity.

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with leadership or tech lead
• Strong backend fundamentals: system design, data-intensive workflows, APIs and integrations

• Track record shipping and scaling products used by customers, ideally B2B SaaS

Responsabilidades

• Define architecture decisions and trade-offs across high-throughput backend workflows, integrations and AI-powered features
• Write production code, unblock the team, own complex problems end-to-end

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who wants to build great software and great engineering teams. You'll lead from the code, set the technical direction for your team, and help define how Enginy builds as the company scales. You'll join early enough to shape the architecture, standards and culture at a stage where customer demand already creates real engineering challenges.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role. We’re not looking for a full‑time manager who has stepped away from the code, nor for a senior engineer who wants to stay heads‑down. We need someone who ships alongside the team while raising the bar for everyone around them.

AI is changing how we build software, and we’re leaning into that shift aggressively. We use AI extensively across the engineering workflow, not just to write code faster, but to rethink how engineers design, build, test, debug, and ship. We want someone who is excited to push these tools to their limits, experiment with new ways of working, and help define what a high‑performing, AI‑native engineering team looks like.

Success means a team that delivers fast and reliably, a platform that scales with our growth, and engineers who grow under your leadership.

You’ll own technical delivery end‑to‑end:

What you’ll own

• Technical direction: make architecture decisions and technical trade-offs across high‑throughput backend workflows, integrations, AI‑powered features and web experiences
• Hands‑on delivery: write production code, unblock the team, and own complex problems end to end
• Engineering standards: define and raise the bar on code quality, code reviews, testing, observability and reliability
• Team leadership: mentor engineers, support their growth, and contribute to help us scale in the market
• Product partnership: work closely with Product and Design to shape the roadmap, scope work realistically and balance speed with long‑term quality
• Scalability: anticipate what breaks at the next order of magnitude (users, data, integrations) and prepare the platform for it

About you

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including time leading a team or acting as technical lead
• Strong backend fundamentals: system design, data‑intensive workflows, APIs and integrations
• Comfortable working across the stack, with a product mindset you care about the "why", not just the "how"
• Track record shipping and scaling products used by real customers, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting engineering practices that stick
• Clear communicator in English, able to explain technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders
• Bias for action, strong ownership you lead by example

Nice to have

• Experience building AI/LLM‑powered features in production
• Startup or scale‑up experience during a high‑growth phase
• Experience with sales, data enrichment or GTM tooling
