St George's British School Madrid is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to teach Science and Physics across the secondary phase up to Year 13. The school follows the English National Curriculum at KS3, IGCSE at KS4 and the IB Diploma programme in the Sixth Form.

The role includes developing the Physics programme as part of the Science department, participating in after-school activities, delivering pastoral care and helping raise attainment for all learners.

About the school

St George's British School Madrid is a well established school located in a prime educational zone to the North of the capital. The role

The successful candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner teaching Science and Physics across the secondary phase up to the end of Key Stage 5 (Year 13). The school follows the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, IGCSE at Key Stage 4 and the IB Diploma programme in the Sixth Form. Combined and individual sciences are offered at IGCSE, with Physics available at HL/SL in the IB Diploma. Training will be provided for teachers who wish to develop expertise in delivering the IB Diploma programme, provided they possess the required subject knowledge. There is the possibility of a Middle Leadership role for the right candidate.
