Inspired Education Group is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join our growing Barcelona-based school. You will deliver engaging, inquiry-based biology lessons, align with international standards, and help students reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate holds a Biology degree and a teaching qualification valid in the UK or Spain, with secondary-level Biology teaching experience. IB GCSE experience is desirable; KS3 experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a relevant science subject.
• Recognized teaching qualification enabling the candidate to teach in the UK and/or Spain.
• Experience teaching Biology or Science at secondary level.
• Experience with IB Diploma Programme Biology and/or GCSE Biology/Science would be desirable.
• Experience teaching KS3 Science would be an advantage.

• Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that challenge, inspire and support students of different abilities.
• Assess, record and report accurately and promptly on students’ progress and achievement.
• Provide effective and constructive feedback that enables students to understand and improve their performance.
• Create a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment that promotes learning, confidence and well-being.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment design and cross-curricular initiatives.
• Contribute to the wider Science curriculum and support the development of Biology across the relevant key stages.
• Participate actively in school events, extracurricular activities and community engagement programmes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• A university degree in Biology or a relevant Science subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification enabling the candidate to teach in the UK and/or Spain.
• Experience teaching Biology and/or Science at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice.
• Experience of IB Diploma Programme Biology and/or GCSE Biology/Science would be desirable.
• Experience teaching KS3 Science would be an advantage.
