Fever, the leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, seeks a Tax Technology Specialist to optimize ERP tax modules and drive seamless integrations. You will partner with Tax, IT, and ERP teams to implement tax configurations and maintain data integrity across platforms.

Role requires 2–3 years in tax tech, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite), and strong SQL skills. Hybrid work in Madrid, with generous benefits and opportunities to shape global tax processes.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years in tax technology with ERP integration.

• Experience connecting ERP systems to Vertex, Avalara or ONESOURCE.
• Strong knowledge of US sales and use tax and nexus rules.
• Proficiency in SQL; ability to read logs and API responses.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the configuration and maintenance of ERP tax modules for accurate tax determinations.
• Serve as liaison between tax, IT, and ERP teams to translate requirements.
• Manage ERP integrations with external tax engines (Vertex, Avalara, ONESOURCE).
• Support ERP upgrade/migration projects with tax impact analyses and testing.
• Analyze data to identify tax issues and implement corrective configurations.
• Collaborate with finance/compliance to align ERP setups with regulations.
• Maintain technical docs and provide internal training on tax modules.
• Ensure compliance across markets and keep system logs/documentation updated.

Meet the Team

AT Fever, the Tax team makes sure we stay on top of tax compliance across the group: from sales taxes and deal structuring to reporting obligations and identifying tax opportunities. We work closely with external advisors to validate tax criteria, ensure accurate reporting and drive to optimizeprocesses that streamline the finance function. We also define tax parameters for new business activities , solve compliance issues across markets, and continuously improve tools and processes to support the wider organization.

The Role

We are seeking a Tax Technology Specialist with a strong background in ERP platforms and indirect tax integration. This role focuses on the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of tax solutions within enterprise resource planning systems, ensuring that transactional tax data flows accurately across the organization's financial ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Lead the configuration and ongoing maintenance of tax modules within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Business Central), ensuring correct tax determination for all transaction types.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the tax team and IT/ERP teams, translating business tax requirements into system-level configurations and functional specifications.
• Manage integrations between ERP platforms and third-party tax engines (Vertex, Avalara, or Thomson Reuters), including API connections, data mapping, and testing.
• Support ERP upgrade and migration projects by conducting tax impact assessments, regression testing, and post-go-live monitoring.
• Analyze transactional data to identify tax determination errors, exemption misapplications, and reporting gaps; implement corrective configurations.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and compliance teams to ensure ERP configurations align with evolving indirect tax regulations.
• Maintain technical documentation including system configuration guides, data flow diagrams, and change logs.
• Provide internal training and support on ERP tax module functionality to finance and operations stakeholders.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in tax technology with a strong focus on ERP systems and indirect tax integration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/SD/MM tax configuration), Oracle EBS/Cloud, or NetSuite tax modules.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with Vertex O Series, Avalara AvaTax, or Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE.
• Deep understanding of U.S. sales and use tax, including nexus rules, exemption certificate management, and reporting obligations.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reconciliation; experience with ETL or data pipeline tools is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret system logs, API responses, and configuration settings to troubleshoot tax determination issues.
• Strong project management skills; experience with Agile or SDLC methodologies preferred.
