Ficosa in Barcelona is seeking a Tax Specialist to assist and execute procedures for tax compliance at a group level and to support the International Tax Responsible.

You will review tax regulations, calculate tax positions, and oversee recurring reporting obligations while ensuring SOX policy is properly applied within the group. The role is based in Barcelona with a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year in similar position.
• Knowledge of accounting or tax legislation is a plus.
• High level of accuracy and data-driven.
• Microsoft Excel expert user.
• English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Review and ensure tax compliance across jurisdictions where the company operates.
• Verify tax implications of commercial, financial, and intercompany transactions.
• Calculate, review, and document tax positions related to direct and indirect taxes.
• Oversee recurring tax compliance and reporting obligations.
• Supervise GRC controls to ensure SOX tax policy is applied correctly across the group.
• Review group tax budgets and strategic plans.
• Settle accounting and tax information from group companies.
• Prepare and monitor fiscal reporting of foreign companies with SOX compliance.

In our Barcelona's office, we are looking for Tax Specialist who will be assisting and executing procedures in order to ensure tax compliance obligations at a group level as well as giving support to the International Tax Responsible.

Main functions

• Review and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations across the jurisdictions in which the company operates.
• Verify the tax implications of commercial, financial, and intercompany transactions.

• Oversee the timely fulfillment of recurring tax compliance and reporting obligations.
• Supervise of GRC controls in order to guarantee the correct application of SOX tax policy application in the group.

• Prepare, control and monitor fiscal reporting of foreign companies with SOX compliance.

What we are looking for

• Minimum of 1 years in similar position or similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting or tax legislation would be an additional value
