About the Position

Axmed is entering an exciting Series A growth phase and seeking a Talent Partner to lead technical, engineering, and product hiring while supporting broader business recruitment needs. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the hiring function by partnering closely with the CTO and ensuring high‑quality, data‑informed global hiring that aligns with Axmed’s mission to expand access to medicines in low‑ and middle‑income countries.

This person will be confident using AI‑driven sourcing tools, automation, and analytics to improve both efficiency and quality. Their core focus will be on global tech and product hiring, while also supporting scaling across multiple functions, including operations, commercial, and legal teams.

You’ll take ownership of assessing and identifying high‑quality candidates across global markets through structured recruitment processes, thoughtful take‑home assessments, and well‑designed evaluation frameworks that reflect both technical excellence and cultural fit. Your focus will be on maintaining a consistently high bar for talent quality while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth, global environments and is motivated by autonomy, ownership, and meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities
Tech Hiring
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, and product roles across global markets.
  • Partner with the CTO and engineering leadership to understand the tech stack, product roadmap, and upcoming hiring needs.
  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines of high‑quality global technical talent.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience at every stage.
  • Support high‑quality candidate evaluation through structured interviews and take‑home assessments.
Stakeholder & Team Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, ensuring clarity, pace, and alignment on role requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with cross‑functional leaders to prioritize hiring and set expectations.
  • Flexibly recruit across global operations, commercial, and legal functions as needed.
Process & Data Tooling
  • Use data and ATS insights to identify process bottlenecks, improve time‑to‑hire, and optimize candidate flow.
  • Regularly review hiring metrics and translate findings into recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Build, evaluate, and deploy AI‑driven sourcing or automation tools to enhance candidate engagement and operational recruitment.
  • Continuously assess and improve recruitment workflows and tooling for scalability and quality evaluation.
Candidate Experience
  • Represent Axmed’s mission and values authentically in all candidate interactions.
  • Help shape and communicate the employer brand through outreach, messaging, and process excellence.
  • Track and analyze candidate feedback and hiring metrics to improve performance.
  • Support the development and refinement of structured assessments and interviews to ensure consistent evaluation of high‑quality global candidates.
Requirements
  • Proven experience recruiting in high‑quality, fast‑paced tech startups or scale‑ups.
  • Strong background in technical, engineering, and product hiring, with flexibility to recruit across operations, commercial, and legal functions as needed.
  • Deep experience in global hiring, ideally across Europe and emerging markets.
  • Experience hiring and onboarding technical talent in Spain, with an understanding of local employment and onboarding practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data and ATS reports to guide hiring decisions.
  • Proven ability to build or leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing, candidate experience, or recruitment operations.
  • Fluency with ATS platforms and the ability to use them to generate insights and identify process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A solutions mindset, driven to find answers and improvements independently.
  • Fluency in English (Spanish a plus).

Salary: $55,000 - 70,000 per annum
