Job summary

Ebury is seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate to join its Madrid hub, focusing on tech, engineering and product roles. You will recruit across Spain and the wider EMEA region, screening candidates and guiding them through structured interviews in a fast-paced fintech environment.

• Recruitment experience in agency or in-house/TA roles.
• Experience delivering Tech, Engineering or Product recruitment.
• Experience recruiting across Spain and the wider EMEA region.
• Fluent Spanish and English (verbal and written) are essential.
• Highly organised and autonomous; strong communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset; adaptable to a fast-paced culture.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for a diverse range of technical vacancies with emphasis on Engineering, Product and Tech.
• Recruit tech candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow and other networks.
• Screen CVs, portfolios and technical applications; assess skills and cultural fit.
• Conduct structured interviews and guide candidates through the hiring process.
• Maintain candidate engagement and manage expectations; negotiate offers.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and internal stakeholders across levels.
• Schedule interviews, live coding and technical assessments; ensure data accuracy in Greenhouse.

Talent Acquisition Associate - Tech

Ebury Madrid (Hybrid: 4 days per week in the office, 1 day working from home)

The Job

• You will be part of a recruitment team working cross-functionally and internationally to source candidates for a diverse range of technical vacancies with a strong focus on Engineering, Product, and Tech roles
• Source and recruit tech candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other specialized developer networks
• Screen candidates' CVs, portfolios, and technical applications
• Assess applicants' technical knowledge, core engineering skills, experience, and cultural fit
• Conduct structured interviews using various reliable recruiting and technical evaluation methods
• Guide candidates through the hiring process ensuring a positive candidate experience, irrespective of outcome
• Maintain candidates' interest and engagement with Ebury, managing their expectations and negotiating offers in a competitive tech market
• Understand engineering and product teams' technical requirements to find the best candidate for each open role
• Network across the company building strong relationships with hiring managers, tech leads, and internal stakeholders at all levels
• Diary management and technical interview bookings (including scheduling live coding/technical assessments)
• Ensure accurate data and pipeline tracking in our recruitment system (Greenhouse)

About You

• Some previous recruitment experience either in an agency or in-house/TA experience
• Experience delivering Tech, Engineering, or Product recruitment
• Experience recruiting across Spain and the broader EMEA region
• While our initial requirement is to support our tech team’s growth, there may be other opportunities to support wider recruitment needs cross-functionally
• Experience in recruitment within Financial Services or Fintech is beneficial
• Fluent Spanish and English (both verbal and written) are essential to work in our Madrid hub and international environment
• Highly organised and autonomous
