A leading mobile games studio in Barcelona is seeking a Systems Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to design and manage AWS platforms supporting millions of users. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in system administration, strong knowledge of container orchestration, and is comfortable learning new technologies. Formación

• 1-2 years experience as a Systems Administrator, Engineer, SRE, or willingness to learn.
• At least 1 year managing infrastructure in any Cloud Provider, preferably AWS.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Experience operating container orchestration and deploying services with Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK.
• Strong knowledge of networking and Internet protocols.
• Developing skills in Python or Go are preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and quickly learn new technologies.

As a Systems Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer, your challenge at Social Point will be to design, implement, and operate highly available and scalable platforms on AWS to support our teams in creating fun for over 6 million Daily Active Users (+200K concurrent users).

You will be part of a team that believes in infrastructure automation, loves measuring and logging every detail, and provides services using open-source technologies for business advantage.

If you are comfortable with learning and working with new technologies, you will operate our platform by:

1. Managing Infrastructure as Code.
2. Configuring services with configuration managers and container orchestration.
3. Deploying to production using CI/CD pipelines.
4. Measuring and logging details to improve performance.
5. Designing and implementing usage and security policies, backup strategies, all with cost efficiency in mind.
6. Diagnosing problems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing fixes.
7. Collaborating across departments to meet business needs.

Qualifications include:

1. 1-2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Engineer, SRE, or similar, or a willingness to learn.
2. At least 1 year managing infrastructure in any Cloud Provider, preferably AWS.
3. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, etc. (Puppet preferred).
4. Experience operating container orchestration and deploying services with Kubernetes, Docker, or private registries.
5. Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK.
6. Strong knowledge of networking and Internet protocols.
7. Developing skills in Python or Go are preferred.
8. Ability to work in a team environment and quickly learn new technologies.
9. Fluent in spoken and written English.
