ABB's Robotics division seeks a System Service Technician to join our Autonomous Mobile Robots team. You will lead the technical execution, commissioning, and maintenance of automation projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will ensure software engineering complies with ABB standards, assist project managers in technical reviews, and travel to customer sites across Spain as needed to support deployment and optimization.

Formación

• Higher technical education or university degree in Electronics, Robotics or Automation.
• 2+ years of experience executing automation projects (commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance).
• Solid knowledge of PLC programming and communication protocols.
• Experience in functional safety configuration and understanding of standards.
• Programming of electronic devices and embedded systems.

Responsabilidades

• Execute automation projects on AMR/AGV systems including commissioning, configuration, and technical support.
• Provide remote technical assistance, analyzing AMR software opportunities and project challenges.
• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to improve processes and incorporate modifications by developing technical studies.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and project best practices.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and technical support.

By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.This Position reports to:Service CoordinatorYour Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a motivated System Service Technician to join our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) team.In this role, you will be responsible for the technical execution, commissioning, and maintenance of automation projects, working directly with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Ensures software engineering is carried out in compliance with ABB standards, processes, guidelines of project software engineering.Assists project managers and lead project engineers in technical reviews, and discussions with customers, partners, and suppliers and in the resolution of technical problems, both remotely and at customer sites inside and outside Spain.Management, development and ensure the proper implementation of the proposed system in the client's facilities within the expected period at the lowest possible cost.Creates highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with right amount of documentation.The work model for the role is: hybrid (Spain). If your location is Burgos or the surrounding area, it will be positively valued.
