ABB Robotics in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) and Zurich, Switzerland, seeks a software engineer to develop and calibrate sensors for autonomous robots. You will implement calibration algorithms and software tools across C++, Python, and Rust, while collaborating with global teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software/robotics, strong C++ and Python skills, and an interest in SLAM and computer vision.

• 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering, robotics or computer vision.
• Strong C++ and Python skills with a focus on high-quality code and performance.
• Experience with Rust is a plus; willingness to learn required.
• Bonus: experience with SLAM, computer vision or robotics.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a global team.
• Comfortable communicating in English.

Responsabilidades

• Prototype and test sensor calibration algorithms and evaluate precision/robustness.
• Collaborate with project teams to perform root cause analysis for calibration issues.
