Lear in Valls, Catalunya, Spain, seeks a System Requirements & Design Engineer to translate stakeholder needs into robust system requirements and architecture. You will collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical, test, safety and cybersecurity teams to ensure traceability and readiness for integration.

Formación

• Experience in system requirements engineering and best practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of DOORS and ALM.
• Strong background in system architecture design.
• Expertise in functional safety and cybersecurity (ISO 26262, ISO 21434, FMEA, FTA).
• Strong analytical and communication skills with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain the Product System Requirements Specification by deriving and clarifying requirements with stakeholders
• Document and manage system requirements in the requirements tool (e.g., DOORS) including attributes, links, updates, and change impact
• Define and design the system architecture, including interfaces, and derive architectural requirements
• Ensure traceability and compliance for functional safety and cybersecurity, including safety mechanisms and hazard analysis
• Support integration and verification by contributing to integration strategies, resolving defects, and supporting test definition and execution
• Experience in system requirements engineering and best practices
• Hands-on knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS and ALM
• Strong background in system architecture design
• Expertise in functional safety and cybersecurity (ISO 26262, ISO 21434, FMEA, FTA, hazard/risk analysis)

In this role you design the backbone of complex systems by translating stakeholder needs into robust system requirements and architecture. You work with software, hardware, mechanical, test, safety and cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions are traceable and ready for integration. You will manage and derive system requirements, define interfaces, and ensure functional safety and cybersecurity compliance. You support system integration and verification and help resolve requirement defects. This position offers the opportunity to influence cross-disciplinary projects within a leading, collaborative organization.
